Wanted to know if anyone else has seen this issue. The only change that I can recall is that since accelerator was enabled for our VMware backups, the bptm log files have increased in size tremendously. Earlier they were around 50MB/day. Now they can be anywhere between 100-500MB/day. The following three lines make up for most of the log file content (60% - 90%):
00:32:56.925 [8812.5028] <16> 1151940:bptm:8812:<hostname>: [ERROR] PDSTS: fbu_align_extents: (91) stream_offset(3846190080) != extent.stream_offset=(3841078272)
00:32:56.925 [8812.5028] <16> 1151940:bptm:8812:<hostname>: [ERROR] PDSTS: fbu_scan_buf: fbu_align_extents() failed (2060022:software error)
00:32:56.925 [8812.5028] <16> 1151940:bptm:8812:<hostname>: [ERROR] PDSTS: fbu_scan_buf: err=(2060022:software error) can't process FBU format, ignore
This is not causing any backup failures though. Only concerns are the huge logs with [ERROR] messages.
Thanks for your inputs.
