Catalogs are too big

Hello all,

I have a backup server running on WIN2003, NBU version is 6.0MP7 and I have a problem. The catalogs are getting huge and I don't know a work around.

The catalogs are based on two LUNs and one is a copy of the other. We have a lot of infinite data on tapes.

My idea is to keep only the last 3 months catalogs on the LUNs and send the rest to a tape.

I couldn't find a very clear process of who to do it and also how to retrive the catalogs when needed.

Could someone give me a hand on this?
