Netbackup Oracle backup

Hi Folks,

   I just wanted to confirm whether Oracle instance restart/bounce is required pre/post running the Oracle_link script. I am going to configure few new oracle database online backups in our backup infra newly.

Netbackup master is 7.6.0.2, Windows 2008

Client nbu agent is 7.6.0.1 and 7.6.0.2 and Client OS : Linux/Solaris/Windows 2008.

Oracle version : 10g/11

Media server/Storage Unit : Appliance 5320
