sorry this is most likely a dumb question, but I am completley unsure about this.
I just read through the NetBackup 7.x Operating System Compatibility List list here:

Unfortunately I am unsure of what to make about the last part: 'Operating Systems No Longer Supported by NetBackup' (starting page 79)
Are all clients listed below no longer supported at all, or does this just mean that there will be no new versions coming out. Some clients are listed as having a 7.5 client, so I would guess that those are indeed still supported in case I run into an issue. My current example is this line in the sheet:
Windows 2000 SP4 x86-32 32 Client, Master and Media Server 6.5.x
I am running on NetBackup 7.1 but are planning to upgrade to 7.6 within the year. In how far will I get support for this client if at all? It's a customer server so I have no way of updating it to a newer Windows Version. Originally I told the customer that we can only offer best-effort and cannot grant any support at all. Now he asked back pointing to the support sheet stating that from his understanding NetBackup 6.5.x is indeed still supported by Symantec. (As in if there is a problem we would still get a fix for it)
Is this true?
